Temple Beth Israel

The Temple Beth Israel was built in 1924 by architect and congregation member, Joseph Finger (1887-1953). The building served the Orthodox Beth Israel Congregation until they moved to Meyerland in 1967.

Today, it has been renamed the Heinen Theatre and is owned by Houston Community College.
