Massey Business College

Massey Business College was a chain of business schools founded by Richard Massey in 1887. The first school was located in Birmingham, Alabama, but Massey soon expanded throughout the American South.

There was atleast one Massey Business College in Georgia, Virginia, Florida, Kentucky, and Texas. There were three locations in Texas, one of which being the Houston branch that you see in the photo above.

The building that once housed Houston’s Massey Business College is long gone and just about the entire block is now occupied by parking garages.
